Sirens: Man, Woman Assault Each Other Over Breakup; Man Kicks Down a Resident’s Door In Burglary

Domestic Violence

• At 2:24 p.m. on Monday, police arrested LeGrand L. Denetclaw, 39, of Centralia, at the 1100 block of L Street on suspicion of fourth-degree assault domestic violence after getting into a fight with a family member.

• At 12:02 a.m. on Tuesday, police arrested Shayla A. Rosas Harrington, 20, of Centralia, at the 1800 block of Ahlers Avenue and booked her into Lewis County Jail on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence.

 

Theft

• At 3:38 p.m. on Monday, a theft of money was reported from the 900 block of South Scheuber Road.

• At 3:12 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a report of some items being stolen from a local store at the 500 block of Harrison Avenue.

 

Man Kicks Down a Resident’s Door In Burglary

• At 3:32 a.m. on Wednesday, police arrested Christopher L. Wessels, 36, of Onalaska at the 300 block of West Roanoke Street and booked him into the Lewis County Jail on suspicion of second-degree burglary after he kicked down a door into a residence.

Chehalis Police Department

Hit and Run

• At 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a hit and run at the intersection of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way and Northwest Louisiana Avenue, citing Joshua A. Ruble, 37, of Centralia  on suspicion of hit and run attended and driving without liability insurance and then released him.

• At 5:46 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a hit and run at the intersection of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way and Northwest Louisiana Avenue but the suspect got away. Police are looking for a female driver in a brown four-door Jeep.

 

Man, Woman Assault Each Other Over Breakup

• At 6:27 p.m. on Saturday, police arrested Rita Montanez, 38, of Chehalis, and Delfino Medina, 33, of Chehalis, at the 600 block of Southwest 20th Street and booked each of them into Lewis County Jail on suspicion of fourth-degree assault after they allegedly had a dispute over their breakup.

 

DUI

• At 8:42 p.m. on Saturday, police cited Matthew D. Archer, 32, of Ethel, at the intersection of Northwest Airport Road and Northwest Louisiana Avenue and booked him into the Lewis County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence and adrequested additional charges of reckless endangerment.

 

Disorderly Conduct

• At 4:34 p.m. on Friday, police arrested Erica A. Theiss, 27, of Portland, Oregon, at the 10 block of South Market Boulevard and booked her into Lewis County Jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

 

Protection Order Violation

• At 6:20 p.m. on Monday, police arrested Daniel G. Hillestad, 47, of La Center, at the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Street and booked him into Lewis County Jail for violation of a no contact protection order,  and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

 

Burglary

• At 9:16 p.m. on Tuesday, police arrested Dianna M. Ferguson, 33, of Centralia, at the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Street and booked her into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree third-degree theft.

 

Theft

• At 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday, police arrested Maribeth E. Secrest, 30, of Toledo, at the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and booked her into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree theft.

 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Wednesday, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 206 inmates, including 176 in general population, 29 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and one on work release. Of the general population inmates, 132 were male and 44 were female. Of the WERC inmates, 26 were male and three were female.
