A fire Friday morning destroyed two buildings in the 100 block of Morton Road in Winlock.
Two buildings — a barn and an adjacent shop — were destroyed in a fire Friday morning in Winlock, according to Lewis County Fire District 15.
The fire was reported at 8:26 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Morton Road in Winlock.
Crews arrived to find the two structures heavily involved with fire. About 30 firefighters from Lewis County fire districts 15, 20, 20, 6 and 6 responded.
Crews were unable to save the two structures, but prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Lewis County Fire Marshal’s office. No injuries were reported.
