Chehalis resident Tina Goss left “The Price is Right” with much more than a once in a lifetime experience. During her appearance on the show, which was recorded in early November but aired on CBS Tuesday, she racked up $43,477 worth of prizes.

Along with $3,000 in cash, she won some smart luggage equipped with GPS, a trip to Granada, Spain, a diamond ring set, a Jeep Renegade and a trip and six-night stay in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to go to the Mall of America.

“I still get goosebumps talking about it,” Goss said about the episode that aired on Tuesday. “It’s not even about getting up and winning. It’s the vibe of the whole thing. It’s so exciting and you feed off of everybody’s energy.”

Although winning big on the show was thrilling, she said the real takeaway is the experience and the people she met along the way.

“Heck yes, it’s as exciting as hell getting up there and winning and playing, but meeting these people, it’s such an awesome experience,” Goss said.

Goss is the third member in her family to be featured on “The Price is Right.”

Her husband Bret won the showcase showdown in 2013, scoring a trip to Iceland, a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic, an outdoor fire pit and a shuffleboard table. Her mother-in-law Darlene Goss also appeared on the show in the late 1990s, winning a chandelier and other items.

As an almost lifelong fan of the show, she said it remains a staple in her home.

“We still tape it and watch it at night with our kids,” Goss said. “They grew up with it and it’s just part of our lives.”

The trip to Spain will serve as a getaway trip for her 20th wedding anniversary, Goss said. She’s been to Barcelona before for a quick eight-hour rendezvous during a cruise, but she’s excited to be able to spend some more time there.

“Spain is one place we wanted to go back to,” she said. “It’s really going to be pretty spectacular.”

Goss and her husband will stay near the Alhambra Castle. As for the trip to the Mall of America, that will be a family outing.

The couple plans to chip in some money to make sure their two daughters Lilly, 15, and Molly, 17, also get to share the experience.

One day the girls will hopefully get their chance to bring even more prizes home from “The Price Is Right,” she said.

“My girls are going to have a hard act to follow,” Goss said. “They have a family tradition to upkeep.”

Goss said she believes her success and that of her husband on the show is something that has never happened before.

“We don’t have it technically confirmed, but I don’t think there has ever been in the history of The Price is Right a husband and wife that won the entire show on their respective episodes,” Goss said.

Grateful for the experience, Goss said the interactions with host Drew Carey and the models on the show were casual and fun. She met Rachel Reynolds, her favorite model who inspired the custom T-shirt she crafted for the show.
