Cascade Mental Health Care, now renamed simply Cascade, will celebrate 50 years of serving Lewis County and the surrounding areas on Monday, Feb. 6.

The event will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Chehalis facility, located at 135 W. Main St.

There will be a tour of Cascade’s Outpatient Substance Use Facility, as well as refreshments.

In a press release, the organization also announced that it will simplify its name from Cascade Mental Health Care to Cascade.

“Our new name is familiar, it is simple, and it reflects that Cascade is no longer just a mental health agency, but an integrated health system,” according to the press release.

The celebration is open to the public.
