A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of a shared workspace in Chehalis designed to cater to “anyone with a laptop and a dream,” according to a news release from the Chehalis Community Renaissance Team.
“Chehalis CoWorks is a collaborative effort by the Port of Chehalis and Chehalis Community Renaissance Team (CCRT) to encourage independent businesses, remote workers, and travelers to flourish while providing necessary technology in an intentionally designed workspace,” the release states.
The ribbon cutting and grand opening is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. Thursday at the workspace at 478 N. Market Blvd. in Chehalis.

Workspaces at Chehalis CoWorks can be rented by the day, week or month. The space is geared toward mobile workers, entrepreneurs, freelancers and others who only need a part-time workspace.
