The Chehalis Community Renaissance Team (CCRT) is offering beautification micro-grants to downtown businesses and building owners in Chehalis.

“We are excited to expand our programs, helping our business and property owners directly,” said Annalee Tobey, CCRT executive director, in a press release. “This is one more item in a menu of programs we are creating.”

The grants are for downtown businesses and property owners to improve the facades of their buildings. The program is intended to beautify downtown. Eligible expenses include landscaping, signage, sandwich boards, art, exterior lighting and more.

The grants are a 50 percent match, for up to $250 per business or property. CCRT will accept applications for funding as long as it is available, or until Dec. 31, 2018. It is a $4,000 beautification micro-grant program.
