The Chehalis branch of the Washington State Employee Credit Union (WSECU) has moved to a new location where members can enjoy a “larger, more feature-rich space,” according to a news release.

On Monday, the branch opened its new location at 1725 NW Louisiana Ave., Chehalis, just off of Interstate 5 across from the Chehalis Home Depot.

“In addition to the brand new building and expanded features, we’re excited about the convenience of the new location,” said Stephanie Rhodes, Chehalis branch manager. “Our new space is closer to the highway, with more amenities and other businesses close by.”

The new building is 4,500 square feet and features four teller “pods,” allowing both simple and complex visits to be supported in one place; two drive-thru lanes; a drive-up night depository; and both walk-up and drive-up ATMs.

The new branch will also feature safe deposit boxes, which allow members an additional place to keep valuables secure.

Branch hours will be 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Thomas Architecture Studios of Olympia and JH Kelly of Longview served as the architects and general contractor for the building’s construction.

“We hope our members see this move as our way of reinforcing our longstanding commitment to this community,” Rhodes stated in the news release. “We’ve been in Lewis County for 38 years and plan to be here for many more supporting our members and many great nonprofit organizations in the area.”
