Wolves Fall to Highclimbers at Home

In a non-league contest between 2A Evergreen Conference opponents, the Black Hills softball team couldn’t generate any runs in a pitcher’s duel 2-0 loss to Shelton at home Friday afternoon.

The Wolves' Zoey Theophilus pitched a strong game in the circle, throwing a complete game with 11 hits against her but just two runs with one earned. The senior also struck out eight, and went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and a triple. Sam West added a 2 for 2 day at the dish, as well.

The Wolves will return to league matchups for the rest of the season, with the first being next Monday back at home against league-leading W.F. West.
