The Tenino volleyball made its second lengthy trip of the week Thursday, falling in three sets to White Salmon.
Brianna Asay returned to play after missing time with a bone bruise, and put up four kills and a block. Brooke Bratton posted seven assists, five digs, and three aces.
All together, the Tenino middles combined for five blocks.
“I told the girls that the score doesn’t show it, but we are going to take that game as a win,” Tenino coach Shauna Carpenter said. “They finally saw what they are capable of and what we as coaches have been seeing all along. We played complete games tonight.”
Tenino (1-4) will host 2B Stevenson on Saturday. The Beavers fell to the Bulldogs on the banks of the Columbia River last Friday.
