The W.F. West bowling team traveled to Westside Lanes in Olympia Tuesday night to take on Shelton, and the Bearcats came away with another win by defeating the Highclimbers 1,889-1,439.
The Bearcats were led again by senior Savanna Hoyt-Siler, who bowled a 173 in her first game. According to coach Rich Bunker, Hoyt-Siler made a “great adjustment” heading into her second game, where she shot a 247 to lift her average to 210 on the day.
Emma Hamilton added to the win, fighting through a sore finger to average 151.
Lexi DeLisle came off the bench to score a 191.
“Lexi really came through,” Bunker said. “We were definitely out of sync. When she came in, it got the whole team going.”
