W.F. West beats Shelton in first match back from break

The W.F. West bowling team returned from a three-week layoff on Tuesday, and the Bearcats came away with a 2,082-1,805 win over Shelton, their ninth-straight league win.

The Bearcats were led by Savanna Hoyt-Siler, who averaged 191 for the night and had a high score of 209. Aly Wiens averaged 190 with a high score of 208, and Emma Hamilton and Lexie DeLisle chipped in by averaging 166.

Shelton was led by Alivia Holte, who averaged 190.

Next up for W.F. West will be a match against Rochester, when the Bearcats will be honoring eight graduating seniors on Senior Night. That match is set for Thursday afternoon at Fairway Lanes.



Rochester defeats Black Hills

The Rochester bowling team also earned a win on Tuesday, defeating Black Hills 1,869-1,622.

Natalie Southard averaged 191 pins with a high score of 200, while Aveleen Somvilay added a high score of 171.

Rochester will face W.F. West on Thursday, while Black Hills will head to Westside Lanes in Olympia to face Shelton.
