Warriors 1-Hit By Bobcats in Aberdeen

Falling in a 2A Evergreen Conference contest in Grays Harbor, the Rochester softball team managed just one hit in a 5-0 loss to Aberdeen Wednesday afternoon. 

The Warriors couldn’t get anything going at the plate against either Bobcat pitcher, as Lilly Camp and Rylee Hendrickson combined to strike out 13 batters and allow just one hit. 

Jessa Lenzi managed the only Rochester hit, and Layna Demers drew two walks. 

In the circle, Kassidy Byrd stepped out of the bullpen to pitch a solid 3 2/3 innings, allowing just one run on three hits with four strikeouts. Layna Demers finished the game out, pitching two innings and allowing just runs on four hits with four punchouts. 

Rochester will take on W.F. West at Recreation Park in Chehalis on Friday for its next contest.
