Volunteer needed for Lewis County Flood Control District 2

The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is looking to fill an opening on Flood Control District 2, which covers portions of Centralia.

Board members generally meet once to twice a year. Flood Control District 2 is a special purpose district tasked with managing and mitigating impacts of flooding.

The volunteer will serve through the next election, and until a successor is elected.

Applications must be submitted by 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15. The packet can be found under “BOCC News” at https://lewiscountywa.gov/offices/commissioners/

To apply, property owners can submit an application:



• At the Lewis County Commissioners’ Office, at 351 NW North St. in Chehalis

• By mail at 351 NW North St., Room 210, Chehalis, WA 98532

• Via email at committees@lewiscountywa.gov

Applicants should include “Flood Control District 2” in the subject line if submitting via email.
