The Mossyrock baseball team got back to the field for the first time in over a week Friday and kicked off a bit of a gauntlet with a 4-0 win over Lake Quinault.
Easton Kolb struck out 10 in four innings, giving up two hits. Cooper Young worked a scoreless inning of relief, and Tim Bowes capped the shutout with two innings and four strikeouts.
Wylde Greisen and Hunter Isom both smacked doubles for the Vikings, who have now won three straight games by way of shutouts.
The Vikings are set to face Pe Ell-Willapa Valley in a non-league rematch — they beat the Titans 4-0 on April 12 — before facing reigning state champs Naselle on Monday.
