The Mossyrock softball team got more walking practice in Tuesday, downing Wishkah Valley 16-0 in three innings.
The Vikings (11-6, 8-0 1B Coastal) got their runs off of just three hits. Adyson Barrows and Chesney Schultz both hit singles, and Yuritzy Garduno had a double. On defense, the Loggers didn’t commit an error; everything was free passes.
Erin Cournyer struck out eight in a three-inning no-hitter, retiring nine straight after walking the first batter she faced. The Vikings then struck for 12 runs in the first, and four in the second.
Mossyrock will take on Morton-White Pass in a non-league tuneup Thursday, before getting into district play next week.
