The Mossyrock softball team ended things quickly against Naselle on Tuesday, finishing the game in three innings to win 15-0 at home.
A busy day at the plate for the Vikings, aided by an Erin Cournyer no hitter, spelled a quick game for Mossyrock. Things got rolling for the Viks in the first with three runs scored, then rolled even faster to the second inning where 12 Mossy batters reached home to score.
Mossy combined for a 13-hit performance through just two innings. Lois Stone went 3 for 3 with her first homer of the year. Hailey Brooks also sent a ball of her own over the outfield fence for another Viking home run.
Mossyrock jumps to two games ahead for first place in the 1B Coastal League. The Vikings look to capture another victory Thursday, hitting the road to take on Wishkah Valley.
