Vikings Blow Out Eagles

The 1B No. 5 Mossyrock boys basketball team didn’t have long to sit on its first league loss of the year, and bounced back appropriately Thursday, dispatching Firm Foundation 78-48.

“We were ready to get back to action and were able to execute tonight after back to back long trips on the bus,” Mossyrock assistant coach Kelly Ross said. “It was nice to get back into the win column and we were able to fine tune a few things.”

Keegan Kolb led the Vikings with 16 points, and Zackary Munoz came in right behind him at 15. Easton Kolb scored 11, and Hunter Isom made it four in double figures with 10.

Luke and Matt Cooper both scored eight, and Will Cushman had five, along with a couple of charges taken that Ross said “showed some real toughness.”

Mossyrock will get back to action next Tuesday, heading to Longview to face Three Rivers Christian.
