The Vader May Day Festival will take place on Saturday, May 6, and will have an outer space theme. 

The schedule is still being finalized but there is expected to be a breakfast followed by a parade beginning at 11 a.m. 

Following the parade around noon, there will be a variety of activities including kids games and a maypole dance. 

The festivities are currently scheduled to close at about 3 p.m.

Festival volunteers are still needed.
