Ignited by four goals by striker Christoph Danger, the Toledo/Winlock United boys soccer team cruised past the Chinooks 7-1 in a Trico League contest that ended a five-match losing streak on Friday night.

On United’s senior night, it was Danger - a junior - that stole the show. It was a scoreless match through 30 minutes before he scored in the 31st, 32nd, 34th and 38th minutes. He also assisted Rylee Weimar’s goal in the 34th minute.

Mateo Leon, one of four seniors on the roster, added to the cushion in the 47th minute and assisted Junior Villaba’s tally in the 58th minute to cap the evening. United (6-9, 5-9 Trico) will close the regular season against league-leading Seton Catholic next week.
