The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce and Lightcurve Fiber employees held as ribbon-cutting ceremony during a Business After Hours event at Jeremy’s Farm to Table in Chehalis on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Lightcurve, formerly Rainier Connect, sponsored the December Business After Hours event as its Chehalis community kickoff event, celebrating the launch of a new fiber-to-the-home network in the area.
While Lightcurve has long provided fiber connectivity for local businesses, this expansion brings the benefits of high-speed internet directly to residents, empowering homes with faster, more reliable connectivity, according to a news release from the chamber.
An Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest was held during the event.
