Two people were transported to Arbor Health Morton Hospital on Tuesday after they were involved in a failure-to-yield crash on U.S. Highway 12 between Randle and Packwood.
The crash was reported at approximately 4:04 p.m. on June 3 at the intersection of eastbound U.S. Highway 12 and Silver Brook Road.
A 2007 Ford Edge driven by Audrey R. Bloom, 74, of Randle, was reportedly stopped at Silver Brook Road waiting to turn onto eastbound U.S. Highway 12. A 2021 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 44-year-old Castle Rock woman was reportedly driving westbound on U.S. Highway 12 when Bloom allegedly entered the roadway, failing to yield and striking the Hyundai.
