An anonymous tip submitted Monday morning has led the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office to arrest two more suspects in the murder of 37-year-old Jose Luis Alejo Tamayo of Chehalis.

His body was discovered along the side of the roadway by a jogger in the 2500 block of 12th Avenue Northeast at about 7:50 a.m. April 25. Deputies responded and confirmed the man had died as a result of a gunshot wound.

A 38-year-old male was booked into the Thurston County Jail for alleged first-degree murder and a 32-year-old female was booked for alleged first-degree rendering criminal assistance.

At this point in the investigation, four total arrests have been made: Rochelle Lee Schneberger, 37, of Olympia, was arrested for first-degree murder and Olivia Farrar Ingram-Legvold, 30, was arrested for first-degree rendering criminal assistance last week.

The Thurston County Sheriff’s office has not released the identities of the most recent suspects to be arrested.

“It is anticipated that additional search warrants will be served and there is the possibility that additional arrests will be made in connection with this homicide,” said the sheriff’s office in a press release.

The sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information about the case send tips to Det. Howard Reynolds at howard.reynolds@co.thurston.wa.us or to Det. Joe Hiles at joseph.hiles@co.thurston.wa.us.

“We appreciate the tips and assistance given to us by our community and other public safety partners,” said the sheriff’s office.
