Two people were injured in a crash involving three vehicles on Interstate 5 near Napavine early Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Juan Luna Sanchez, 32, of Chehalis, was driving a 2000 Volkswagen at the state Route 508 interchange when he went off the roadway onto the right shoulder, came back onto the roadway crossing all lanes and struck the median barrier, coming to rest in the left lane.

A 2005 Dodge Caravan driven by Tamera S. Town, 60, of Winlock, then struck the Volkswagen before striking a 2001 Subaru Forester driven by Ricardo Victoriano, 21, of Ocean Shores.

The crash occurred just before 1 a.m.

Town was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital. Victoriano was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Sanchez was not injured.

The state patrol listed the cause of the crash as wheels off the roadway. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to have been a factor.

All three vehicles involved were totaled.
