Two drivers were transported to a hospital on Thursday after they were involved in a failure-to-yield collision on U.S. Highway 12 near Salkum.

The crash was reported at approximately 6:36 p.m. on Dec. 19, according to a Washington State Patrol incident report.

A gray 2022 Honda CR-V driven by Cari R. Brown, 27, of Randle, was reportedly traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 12 at milepost 78 when a westbound green 2000 Ford Taurus driven by Chloe J. Johnston Lester, 18, of Onalaska, reportedly failed to yield when making a left turn, striking the Honda.

Both drivers were transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for medical treatment.

The Washington State Patrol has determined that no drugs or alcohol were involved.
