Twin City Wrestling Club takes third at Elma Folkstyle Tournament

The Twin City Wrestling Club had 63 youth wrestlers compete at the WSWA Elma Folkstyle Tournament Sunday, and it came home with a third- place team finish with 39 placers.

Twin City Wrestling Club takes third at Elma Folkstyle Tournament

The Twin City Wrestling Club had 63 youth wrestlers compete at the WSWA Elma Folkstyle Tournament Sunday, and it came home with a third- place team finish with 39 placers.
 
Five of those finished first, nine others were second, eleven came home third, and 14 others finished in 4th place. 
 
White River won the tournament with, 205 points, while Montesano Mad Dogs  scored 204.5 to place second. Twin City took third with 178, while Mat Rats Rebooted placed fourth with 172 and Toro World Club rounded out the top five with 167.

Taking home the gold medals were: Aiden Eastman (U6 48-50), Jackson Coleman (U6 51-52), Jace Hanson (U10 71), Harrison Woodward (U12 78), and Beau Simpson (14U 140). 



Silver medalists were: Charlotte Porter (Girls K-2 41-43), Evalyn Martinez (Girls K-2 56-57), Ophilea Cortes (Girls K-2 74-81), Jaxon Martinez (U8 49), Zayvynn Sanders (U10 49-51), Jasper Robinson (U10 71), Nicholas Schultz (U12 108), Ian Simonds (U12 160-166), and Kaiden Coates (14U 132).

Finishing with the Bronze medal were: Layne Balzer (U6 43-45), Emberly Sharp (Girls K-2 43-45), Layla Simonds (Girls K-2 74-81), Hayden Templeton (U8 43), Colt Miller (U8 56), Ryker Roberts (U10 93), Skylar Powell (Girls 3rd-5th 98), Michael Rice (U12 86), Archer Bogar (U12 108), Jonny Schultz (U14 140), and Anna Porter (Girls 6th-8th 76-80).

 
Next up for the Twin City Wrestling Club is the WSWA Concede Nothing Folkstyle Challenge at Centralia HS Sunday January 5th.
