Behind their top-two golfers firing under an 80, the Thunderbirds maintained their spot atop the Evergreen Conference with a 400-417 18-hole victory over the Bearcats on Wednesday at Tumwater Valley.

Braeden Konrad was the medalist after carding a 3-over par 75 and teammate Landen Baydo registered a 6-over par 78. Zane Laposky, Scott Ellis and Liam Gustafson were all separated by a combined one stroke.

W.F. West were led by a pair of sophomores in Jamie Conzatti and Emmett Goodman each with an 80. Jax Potter and Weston Potter recorded an 83 and 84, respectively, while Fox Rogerson finished the day with an 85.

These two teams will play again on Monday – along with Black Hills – at Salish Cliffs.
