The Thunderbirds highlighted their senior class in a variety of ways on Friday night in their regular season finale en route to a 49-0 shutout over Centralia to wrap up the Evergreen Conference slate.

At 9-0 overall and 4-0 in the league, Tumwater will enter a home crossover game next week aiming to return to Husky Stadium. All seven touchdowns were scored by a senior, four on the ground, one in the air, one fumble return and a punt return.

JT Brumbaugh led the rushing attack with 11 carries for 77 yards, part of a 249-yard collective effort. Washington State commit Malijah Tucker finished with six total tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack.

Centralia (0-9, 0-4) was paced in the backfield by 19 yards from Kellan Rooklidge and 10 yards by Donovan Galloway. The Tigers’ season concludes and they will say goodbye to a 12-member senior class.
