Pe Ell’s Aaiden Lee dropped a game-high 23 points and Trojans shot past Winlock for a 47-35, season-opening road victory on Tuesday in non-league action.
The Trojans jumped out to a 24-15 lead at the half and held off the Cardinals in the second half to secure the win.
Winlock was led by Cole Fray-Parmantier’s 11 points and Payton Sickle’s 10.
The Cardinals (0-1) host Class 1A Castle Rock on Wednesday. Pe Ell (1-0) hosts Ocosta on Friday.
