Toledo Native Robert Boone to Celebrate 90th Birthday July 24

Posted

Robert Wesley Boone graduated from Toledo High School in 1950 and remained for the long haul.

He attended Toledo New Life Assembly with his wife, Allene, and together they dedicated much to the people, their family and the community.

Robert has always enjoyed gardening and woodworking, and believe it or not social networking with friends on Facebook.

Robert and Allene were married on Aug. 18, 1951.

She, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, “left us to be with our father in heaven in 2016, and though she left in the flesh, we are sure she watches over us knowing that this year would have been her 70th wedding anniversary to the man of her life,” the family wrote.

The family invites all friends, family and acquaintances to come and celebrate 90 years of a loving and kind man from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at the residence of Geoff and Rachael Boone, 1106 Fieldcrest Ave., Centralia. Boone’s actual birthday is July 19.

Food and refreshments will be provided.

No gifts are required; however, gifts will not be rejected.

“With much love, we look forward to seeing the smiles and familiar faces to help us celebrate a great man, Robert Wesley Boone,” the family wrote.
