Dropping its final game of the season in the 2B District 4 consolation quarterfinals to Kalama, the Pe Ell-Willapa Valley baseball team fell in the loser-out game, 8-1.

The Titans had another tough go of it at the plate, with just three hits, and couldn’t stop the Chinook offense, committing five errors in the season-ending loss.

Riley Pearson nearly tossed a complete game on the hill, going all but one out and allowing eight runs with five earned on 10 hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Connor Keeton pitched the final out.

Wil Clements, Garrett Keeton, and Liam Smaciarz had the lone hits of the day for the Titan offense, with Clements hitting a triple.

The Titans graduate seven seniors: Clements, Tristan Baker, Garrett Keeton, Pearson, Kail Homan, Trey Ritzman, and Derek Fluke.
