Finishing its long road trip across the mountains 2-0, the Napavine girls basketball team defeated host Brewster, 55-37, Thursday night after a sound win over Davenport on Wednesday.
The Tigers were led by the hot shooting of Hayden Kaut, who scored 22 points on 6 for 10 shooting, including 10 made free throws.
Keira O’Neill added 10 points, six boards, and three steals.
Napavine outscored the Bears in every quarter, and despite just shooting over 36% from the floor, hounded Brewster all time. The Bears shot 32% from the floor, and were outrebounded 31-26.
The Tigers take on King’s Way Christian next on December 30 after a little over a week off of games.
