Tigers outlast Wolves with three-set victories

Suki Bringman and Eliyah Rooklidge were staring at the potential of straight set losses for Centralia High School’s girls tennis team. Those two found another gear on Thursday afternoon.

Both Bringman and Rooklidge completed the rally to win at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, respectively in aiding the Tigers to a clean 6-0 victory over Black Hills in an Evergreen Conference contest. Sophia Wiley and Aydan Butler split the first two sets at No. 1 doubles before prevailing 6-3 in the last set to win.
