Tigers fall to T-Birds on home mat

The Centralia wrestling team was at home for a dual against Tumwater on Thursday, and the Tigers were defeated by Tumwater 35-29.

The dual came down to the final two matches. Unfortunately for Centralia, Alika Vargas had to forfeit his match at 215 due to injury.

The individual match results were:

106 — Double forfeit

113 — Diego Conception (Tumwater) won by minor decision 10-7 over Adrian Martinez (Centralia)

120 — Jose Alatorre (Centralia) won by minor decision 5-0 over Diego Conception (Tumwater)

126 — Collin McPherson (Tumwater) won by minor decision 9-2 over Lincoln Krogness (Centralia)

132 — Hunter Van Der Hoff (Centralia) won by fall in 5:20 over Alejandro Conception (Tumwater)

138 — Dobah Denetclaw (Centralia) won by fall in 1:07 over Carter Criss (Tumwater)



144 — Lafel Denetclaw (Centralia) won by technical fall 18-3 over Brian Flowers (Tumwater)

150 — Dashba Denetclaw (Centralia) won by minor decision 7-6 over Zachary Warner (Tumwater)

The Centralia girls will be in Kelso on Friday and Saturday, while the boys will be in Black Hills for a tournament on Saturday.
