Thurston County to Hold Four Community Information Meetings Concerning Agricultural Zoning

Thurston County officials are looking to provide information and gather feedback on possible zoning changes that would protect land for current and future commercial agricultural use, according to a county news release. 

Community Planning and Economic Development staff members will hold four informational meetings, sharing the same information at each meeting. The first three meetings will be held in person at various locations throughout the county, while the final meeting will be virtual on Zoom. 

The meetings will take place at the following locations, times and dates: 

• March 27, 6-7 p.m. at the South Union Grange, located at 10030 Tilley Road SW in Olympia.

• March 30, 6-7 p.m. at the Rochester High School Commons, located at 19800 Carper Road SW in Rochester. 



• April 4, 6-7 p.m. at the Yelm Community Center located at 301 Second St. SE in Yelm. 

• April 7, 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Zoom, advanced registration is required.
