Thurston County Auditor’s Office Announces Logic and Accuracy Test Ahead of General Election

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office is seeking volunteer observers for its upcoming logic and accuracy test ahead of the Nov. 2 general election.

The logic and accuracy test demonstrates the accuracy of the tabulation equipment, and will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, at the Ballot Processing Center, 2905 29th Ave. S.W. Suite E in Tumwater. The Auditor’s Office is looking for volunteers to serve as observers for the Logic & Accuracy test. 

“Anyone can be an observer,” stated an auditor’s office press release. “The logic and accuracy test is a great way to learn more about how we ensure our elections are free, fair, safe, and secure.”



Observers will receive the opportunity to ask learn more, and ask questions, about the election process.
