The Adna baseball team logged another dominant win on Wednesday, as the Pirates jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a 12-0 win over Onalaska.
Beau Miller, Talan Guerrero, and Owen Fagerness were unhittable on the bump, as the trio combined to no-hit the Loggers in five innings. They struck out 11 combined, didn’t walk a batter, and only allowed baserunners to reach via error.
The Adna offense gave them immediate run support, scoring nine in the first before tacking on a pair in the second to make it 11-0.
Danner Hoinowski continued his strong start at the plate with a 3 for 3 performance, driving in three and scoring twice. Cash Smith went 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs, and Ty Bodenhamer went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI of his own. All three of those Pirates also scored two runs apiece.
Desean Stewart was able to settle things down on the bump for the Loggers, as he allowed just two hits and one run in three and a third innings of relief.
Adna (3-0, 3-0 C2BL) and Onalaska (0-3, 0-3 C2BL) will meet again on Friday in Adna.
