The Tenino volleyball team earned a win in its final non-league game of the regular season on Monday, sweeping Columbia Adventist 25-18, 25-5, 25-19.
Sequoia Zimmer dished out 16 assists, had four digs, and was perfect on six attempts from the service line. Jaeleen Woodward missed just one of 17 attempts from the line while also logging four aces and three digs, and Violet Zimmer went an impressive 24 for 25 with 10 aces.
“Violet really stepped up tonight and played confidently,” Tenino coach Shauna Carpenter said.
Katen Burkhardt logged 11 kills, three aces, three digs, and a pair of assists.
Tenino (4-6, 0-1 1A Evergreen) will return to league play on Tuesday at home against Elma.
