Eight Morton-White Pass players got in on the scoring party and the Timberwolves came away with a 58-31 victory over Three Rivers Christian on Friday at White Pass High School.

The Timberwolves were led by Natalia Armstrong’s team-high 15 points, while McKenzee Mays added 10 and Amy Martinez finished with eight.

Three Rivers’ Elizabeth Romanillos and Kelsey Poyner scored all 31 of the Eagles’ points, with Romanillo’s leading all scorers with 18 and Poyner adding 13.

“Three Rivers Christian has two really good shooters, and we applied good defensive pressure,” MWP coach Curt Atkinson said. “We were able to get turnovers and keep them from shooting.”
