Accomplishing just one of its many goals this season, the 2B No. 3 Morton-White Pass boys basketball team defeated Onalaska at home Friday night, 70-30, to finish its home slate perfect during the 2022-23 hoops season.
The Timberwolves were in complete control all night Friday, with Josh Salguero leading the way with 19 points, Hunter Hazen adding 17, and Tony Belgiorno scoring 10 points off the bench.
“We came out and executed those focuses we wanted to make sure we were working on,” MWP coach Chad Cramer said. “We got everyone a ton of minutes, which was good. Finishing the season undefeated at home, that’s a big milestone for us. We came out and did what we were supposed to do. Overall I was pretty happy with our execution.”
The Loggers were led by Jacob Miess’ seven points, with Blaze Underhill chipping in six.
MWP can clinch a first-round bye in the district tournament with a road win against Kalama on Tuesday, while the Loggers play host to Toutle Lake.
