T-Birds win sixth straight Pioneer Bowl over Wolves

Tumwater blitzed out to a big lead early and never looked back on Friday night, as the T-Birds topped Black Hills to win their sixth consecutive Pioneer Bowl 62-0.

Tumwater led 35-0 after just one quarter of play, and the lead jumped to 49-0 at halftime.

Nineteen different T-Birds got carries in the win, and seven different Thunderbirds scored rushing touchdowns, including Tyler Briscoe, Parker Better, and Jaden Hinchcliffe. As a team, Tumwater ran for 397 yards.

David Malroy also scored, catching a 23-yard touchdown pass from Jaxon Budd, and Briscoe also caught a 21-yard TD reception.

Malijah Tucker tallied six tackles on defense, including a tackle for loss, while Beckett Wall had five tackles, two TFLs, and a pair of sacks. Cash Short also got to the quarterback for a sack.

Black Hills (2-4, 1-1 2A EvCo) will host Elma next Friday, while Tumwater (6-0, 1-0 2A EvCo) will head to Aberdeen.
