The Tumwater boy’s golf team defeated Centralia by almost 30 strokes on Thursday at Tumwater Valley Golf Course, winning 217-246.

Zane Laposky and Bayler Olson tied for the best score on the day, shooting 42 each, but T-Bird teammate Nolan Campbell wasn’t far behind at 43. Brandon Konrad was just another stroke back at 44, while Landon Baydo rounded out the group with a 46.

Tucker Weaver and Brady Sprague both posted a 46 for Centralia, and Tyler Fagerness also was in the 40s with a 48. Jake Johnson posted a 50 and Tristan Henning shot a 56.

The T-Birds next match is on Wednesday, Sept. 27 against Black Hills at Tumwater Valley, while the Tigers will take on W.F. West at Riverside Golf Course on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
