The Tumwater boys basketball team lost its second matchup in Yakima — and third game straight — on Friday, falling 77-59 to Grandview at the SunDome Shootout.
Clay Morgan led the T-Birds with 20 points and Sahara Anthony III added 15, but Tumwater just couldn’t keep up with a Grandview offense that put four Greyhounds in double figures.
Tumwater trailed by 14 at halftime, before letting things truly get out of hand in an 18-9 run in the third quarter.
The T-Birds will return west and get one more non-league showdown before jumping back into 2A EvCo play, hosting Timberline on Wednesday.
