The Tumwater girls soccer team made short work of Shelton and kept up the pressure for the entire first half, beating the Highclimbers 10-0 in a 2A EvCo match Tuesday.
Emalyn Shaffer started the scoring with a brace in the first 10 minutes. Trinity Edwards and Ava Jones both added braces of their own.
Jones’ second goal made it 5-0 in the 25th minute, and three minutes later, McKenzie Kolb stretched it to 6-0. Four minutes after that, it was 7-0 thanks to Regan Brewer, and Ruthy Heryford got in on the scoring to make it 8-0 in the 37th.
Julia Odd started the second-half scoring, before Edwards scored her second.
Tumwater will host Aberdeen on Thursday.
