After suffering its first loss of the season to W.F. West last week, the No. 7 Tumwater football team bounced back to defeat league foe Aberdeen at Sid Otton Field, 35-3, Friday night.

The Thunderbirds returned to their dominant ways, rushing for 266 yards as a team and passing for 145 more in the win.

Carlos Matheney had 120 rushing yards with a pair of scores, Logan Cole added 112 yards with two touchdowns, and the defense was equally as dominant.

Kai McLeod had a pick, Tyler Criss had a fumble recovery, and multiple players logged at least five solo tackles in an exhibition of strength on the outside.

The Thunderbirds take on Shelton next Friday on the road for another league contest.
