State Patrol Identifies Pedestrian Killed on I-5 in Lewis County

The Washington State Patrol has identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a semi-truck while on Interstate 5 near mile marker 72 late Tuesday. 

Jonathan L. Hogan, 46, of Olympia, died at the scene. 



According to the state patrol, he was in the left lane of southbound I-5 just before midnight when he was struck by a sem-truck driven by a 53-year-old Tacoma man. 

There will be no charges as the cause of the fatality was a pedestrian in the roadway, according to the state patrol.
