Powered by Ryah Stanley’s near perfect night from the field and lockdown defense in the second half, the Riverhawks posted a dominant 56-18 victory over the Cardinals in a C2BL contest on Tuesday night.
It was a 25-point outburst from Stanley that included a pair of 3-pointers and going 5-of-6 from the free throw line. Toledo (11-6, 2-3 C2BL) joins a packed middle part of the league standings with three others sitting at three league losses.
The Riverhawks jumped out a double digit cushion after the first quarter and never looked back. They gave up just one field goal in the third and fourth frames. Sidney Kruger added 10 points for Toledo and Kailea Lairson-Young grabbed 10 rebounds.
Winlock (2-15, 0-5) only had two players score all night in Natalie Cardenas notching 10 points and Kendyl Guenther recording eight. The Cardinals will face league-leading Adna on Thursday while the Riverhawks travel to take on Morton-White Pass on Thursday.
