City of Chehalis Public Works Department staff will be closing Southeast 11th Street at its intersection with South Market Boulevard on Thursday, April 17, to carry out road repairs in the intersection, according to a news release.
The street will be closed from 4 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or “until the repair is complete.”
“Because of the size of the repairs, there will not be enough room to get vehicles safely through the work zone,” the release stated.
Northbound traffic on South Market Boulevard will be moved into the turning lane during the repairs. Parking within the work zone will also be prohibited during this time.
The release cautioned commuters driving around the area to drive slowly and cautiously through work zones.
