Sirens: Threat to Kill at Hospital; Expensive Tracksuit Stolen; Woman Shoots Boyfriend With BB Gun

Threat to Kill at Hospital

• Nathan D. Marks, 21, of Port Angeles, was arrested in the 900 block of Scheuber Road at about 11:20 a.m. on Aug. 8 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly threatening to grab a gun he claimed was hidden off-site. According to police, he said he would come back and shoot hospital security staff.

 

Expensive Tracksuit Stolen

• An unknown male suspect reportedly stole a $600 multi-colored tracksuit from an outlet store located in the 1400 block of Lum Road at around 1 p.m. on Aug. 8. No arrests have been made in the case.

 

Arrest for Domestic Violence Order Violation

• Brian C. Smith, 47, of Centralia, was arrested in the 2800 block of Russell Road at about 2 p.m. on Aug. 8 and booked into the Lewis County Jail on an outstanding warrant and for allegedly violating his domestic violence order.

 

Credit Card Fraud

• A victim in the 100 block of West Maple Street reported fraudulent use of their credit card at about 8 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Woman Shoots Boyfriend With BB Gun

• Malena M. Henley, 51, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1500 block of South Gold Street at 5 a.m. on Aug. 9 for allegedly shooting her boyfriend with a BB gun during a domestic dispute.

Domestic Disputes

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 1600 block of South Market Boulevard at about 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 6. No arrests were made.

• A domestic dispute was reported at a memorial service located in the 200 block of Southwest 13th Street at about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 8. No arrests were made.

 

Crashes

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported in the 2100 block of North National Avenue at about 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 6.



• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard at about noon on Aug. 8.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the corner of Southwest 13th Street and Southwest William Avenue at about 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Child, Dog Left in Vehicles

• A caller reported to police at about 2 p.m. on Aug. 6 that a 5-year-old had been left in a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue for the last 30 minutes. The windows were cracked and the vehicle was off, and the child said they didn’t know when their parents would be back.

• A dog reportedly seemed to be in distress while in a parked blue van in the 500 block of North Market Boulevard at about 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 6.

 

Female Walking With Machete

• A female subject was reportedly seen walking around with a large machete near the intersection of Southwest Riverside Drive and state Route 6 at about 4 p.m. on Aug. 6. No arrests were made.

 

Man Says He’s Scared, Has Weapons

• A male subject walked into a store located in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 7 and reportedly said he was scared for his life and said he had weapons at his house. He seemed to be intoxicated.

• A male subject was reportedly seen lighting items on fire in a ditch located in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 7. No arrests were made.

 

Theft

• A license plate was reported stolen in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 6 p.m. on Aug. 7.

• A resident in the 300 block of Southwest James Street called in to report a theft of about $150 over Facebook. A suspect was named, but no arrests had been made yet.

 

Man Exposes Genitals

• A male subject was reportedly seen lifting his shorts high enough to expose his genitals outside a gas station in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue. Callers report he was a white male, possibly in his 60s, and had a dog with him. No arrests were made.

 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 136 inmates, including 117 in the general population and 19 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 100 were reported male and 17 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
