Sirens: Thefts; Disorderly Conduct; Criminal Trespass

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Malicious Mischief 

• Windows on a building in the 600 block of South Pearl Street were reported damaged just after 11:10 a.m. on Sept. 28. 

Theft 

• A vehicle in the 1400 block of Johnson Road was reported damaged and property was reported stolen just before 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 28. 

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from the 2500 block of Fords Prairie Avenue just after 1:15 p.m. on Sept. 28. 

• Merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 100 block of West High Street just before 1:40 p.m. on Sept. 28. 

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from the 100 block of Virginia Drive just after 1:45 p.m. on Sept. 28. 

• Lisa M. Ray, 33, and Andrew B. Callan, 34, both of Tacoma, were arrested in the 1400 block of Lum Road at approximately 3:55 p.m. on Sept. 28 and were booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged retail theft with special circumstances, possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen vehicle. 

• Victor A. Villalva Ortix, 31, of Centralia, was arrested in the 200 block of West Maple Street at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Sept. 29 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree theft after allegedly taking a cell phone from a family member. 

 • At 9:50 a.m. on Sept. 29, a vehicle was reported stolen from the intersection of North Tower Avenue and East Main Street sometime overnight. 

• Merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Sept. 29. 

• A subject was cited for shoplifting in the 1600 block of Harrison Avenue at 6:40 p.m. on Sept. 29. 

• A firearm was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Johnson Road just after 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 29. 

Disorderly Conduct 

• A subject was cited in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road just before 1 a.m. on Sept. 29 for disrupting a health care facility. 

Criminal Trespass 

 • A subject was cited for trespassing in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road just after 4 a.m. on Sept. 29. 

• A subject was cited for trespassing in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road just before 4:50 p.m. on Sept. 30.

DUI 

• Jamie R. Dixon, 40, of Centralia, was arrested in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue just before 3:40 p.m. on Sept. 29 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence. 

• Emilia Perez-Mejia, 18, of Centralia, was arrested at the intersection of Yew and West Main streets just after 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 30 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence. 



Assault 

• Cody J. Trussler, 24, of Rochester, was arrested in the 200 block of South Diamond Street just before 11:40 a.m. on Sept. 30 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. 

• John J. Crooks, 39, of Winlock, was arrested in the 600 block of West Main Street just after 10:25 p.m. on Sept. 30 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault. 

• A 28-year-old Centralia man turned himself in to police in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue at approximately 1:10 a.m. on Oct. 1 after he was accused of holding a woman and a child at gunpoint. He was booked into the Lewis County Jail and has denied the allegations.

Crashes 

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of North Pearl and West Sixth streets just after 3:20 p.m. on Sept. 30. 

• A non-injury, three-vehicle collision was reported in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue just before 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 30. 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Theft 

• A subject was arrested in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 10:20 a.m. on Sept. 29 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged second-degree burglary. 

• A subject reportedly broke into a residence in the 200 block of Southeast Washington Avenue just after 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 30 and stole property. No arrests were made. 

• At approximately 1 p.m. on Sept. 30, cash and property were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue sometime the day before. 

• A second-degree theft reported in the 1000 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue just after 3:05 p.m. on Sept. 30 is under investigation. 

Crashes

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported in the 1000 block of South Market Street just before 1:10 p.m. on Sept. 29

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Southeast Fourth Street and South Market Boulevard just before 1 p.m. on Sept. 30. 

Malicious Mischief 

• Just before 9:10 a.m. on Sept. 30, there was a report of a subject breaking into a shipping/storage container in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue sometime overnight. 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS 

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 130 inmates, including 119 in the general population and 11 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 104 were reported male and 15 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
