CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Drug violation
• A 52-year-old Onalaska man was arrested in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue just after 12:50 p.m. on Jan. 22 for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. A 29-year-old Onalaska man was also cited for driving on a suspended license.
Theft
• Alcohol was reported stolen from the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at 6 p.m. on Jan. 22.
Malicious mischief
• A subject was cited for third-degree malicious mischief after they damaged a privately owned security camera in the 100 block of Virginia Drive at 9:10 p.m. on Jan. 22.
Recovered vehicle
• A vehicle that was reported stolen out of Seattle was recovered in the 140 block of West High Street just before 6:50 p.m. on Jan. 23. Centralia officers received a Flock Safety camera alert when the vehicle entered city limits.

Malicious mischief
• A second-degree malicious mischief reported in the 200 block of Northwest State Avenue just before 11:55 a.m. on Jan. 22 is under investigation.
• A second-degree malicious mischief reported in the 100 block of Southwest Veterans Way at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Jan. 22 is under investigation.
• A woman reported a man repeatedly slammed his car door into her vehicle in the 1700 block of North National Avenue at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Jan. 23. No damage was reported. The woman told officers she “was upset because the male was ‘scary’ (and) wanted a case number to report damage to her employer.”
Burglary
• A burglary to a property in the 100 block of Southwest 11th Street was reported just after 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 22. Three windows were broken, the door was smashed in and graffiti was found inside.
Welfare check
• A mental health provider asked officers to conduct a welfare check on a client in the 100 block of Southwest Fifth Street just after 11:15 a.m. on Jan. 22 after the client sent the provider threatening text messages, including one saying “Doc hired me to kill people, I really don’t like putting people down, but you’re going to need protection.” Officers spoke with the client, who confirmed he “was rambling” and has no plans to harm anyone or himself.
Vehicle accidents
• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Northeast Cascade Avenue and North Market Boulevard just before 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 22.
• A teenage driver sustained a bloody nose after airbags deployed in a two-vehicle, head-on collision in the 600 block of Southwest Parkland Drive just after 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 23.
Disorderly conduct
• A man was reportedly yelling outside of a clinic in the 900 block of South Market Boulevard just after 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 22.
Vehicle prowl
• A vehicle prowl reported in the 1700 block of Southwest Armstrong Court at approximately 9:55 p.m. on Jan. 22 is under investigation.
Harassment
• At approximately 10:50 a.m. on Jan. 23, a citizen in the 600 block of Southeast Dobson Court reported ongoing harassment by juveniles who she said were calling her names.
• A citizen in the 300 block of Northwest State Avenue reported someone drove by their residence a couple times just before 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 23.
Criminal trespass
• Two juveniles were trespassed from a business in the 500 block of South Market Boulevard for allegedly shoplifting at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 23.
• A man who was asking to enter a business in the 700 block of Northwest Arkansas Way to use the phone was moved along just before 2:10 a.m. on Jan. 24.
Death
• A death reported in the 500 block of Southeast Washington Avenue just after 6:55 a.m. on Jan. 24 is under investigation.
FIRE AND EMS CALLS
• Between Wednesday morning and Friday morning, Lewis County 911 Communications logged approximately 49 illness-related calls, 18 injury-related calls, six fire-related calls, four non-emergency service calls, three vehicle accidents, one overdose, two Lifeline medical alerts, two ambulance requests and one other call.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 148 inmates, including 135 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 106 were reported male and 29 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Friday morning, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total system population of 15 inmates, including seven booked by the Centralia Police Department, five booked by the state Department of Corrections, one booked by the Tulalip Tribe and two booked by the Lummi Nation.
